Linda P. Coles
Linda Coles has served Richmond and the Tri-City area for the past 17 years. She is a graduate of Richmond’s own Virginia Union University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work. She continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned a Master of Social Work Degree. She is licensed to practice independently with The Commonwealth Of Virginia Dept. of Health Professions Board of Social Work. Ms. Coles has dedicated the past 17 years working with at risk populations affected by diverse social ills in our community. She worked with women and children affected by homelessness at St. Joseph’s Villa Flagler Home. She worked with women and infants affected by drug addictions at MCV’s Peri-natal Addiction Center. She served as Director of Early Intervention Services coordinating medical and social services to infants and families affected by developmental issues due to genetics and birth injury. She Served as Senior Clinician for Chesterfield County Mental Health providing staff training and clinical assessment of dually diagnosed citizens. Ms. Coles served in the capacity of Regional Director For Family Preservation Services focusing on program growth and development. She has provided contract parent education and training services the Richmond Department of Juvenile Justice Services and Department of Social Services. She has also provided clinical consultation and direct therapy services to the community through private practice. Linda Coles has been with Associated Educational Services for the past seven years where she proudly serves as Clinical Director. Her diverse experience and commitment to quality service continues to be an asset to the agency. Ms. Coles is a parent of two and serves on various boards and in ministries at the church she attends. She employs servant leadership in all projects she undertakes. “ I t is not a job or a profession it is life purpose.”
Sheila Y. Green
Sheila Green received an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and her M. Ed. from Regent University. She was a teacher in the Chesterfield County Public School System for more than 10 years. During that time she taught first and third grades. In addition, she was a Chapter I/Title I Reading teacher and served on numerous committees in Chesterfield Schools. Mrs. Green has served as a past member of the Richmond Public Schools Gifted and Talented Advisory Board and as a past member of Petersburg Public Schools Special Education Advisory Council. Eight years ago she began teaching special education in the Metropolitan Day School of AES in Richmond, Virginia. Currently, she is the Director of Metropolitan Day School and serves as a member of the Executive Board of VAISEF (Virginia Association Independent Specialized Educational Facilites).
